The Lancaster-Lebanon League Quarterback Club, comprising the league's football coaches, selected the following PowerPro Players of the Week from Week 4.
PowerPro Linemen of the Week
Section 1: Cedar Crest sophomore Griffin Schomp, an offensive tackle and defensive lineman, earned Lineman of the Week honors following an outstanding performance against Hempfield. Schomp recorded four pancake blocks and posted the highest blocking grade on the Falcons' offensive line. Defensively, he added three tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack and three quarterback hurries.
Section 2: Elizabethtown junior Matt Sikora, a guard and defensive tackle, played a key role in the Bears' victory over Lebanon. Sikora recovered a fumble, recorded a tackle for loss and two tackles on defense, while also earning a high blocking grade on the offensive line.
Section 3: Twin Valley senior Joe Buckley dominated on both sides of the ball in a win over Manheim Central. The defensive tackle and offensive guard finished with three tackles and two sacks while grading out as a winner on both offense and defense. Buckley also helped lead a defensive unit that surrendered just 84 total yards and shut out its opponent.
Section 4: Lampeter-Strasburg senior Nolan McQueen turned in a strong two-way effort against Donegal. McQueen earned a high blocking grade on offense and contributed five tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack and one pass defended on the defensive side of the ball.
Section 5: Pequea Valley sophomore Ben Zellers continued his standout season with a dominant defensive performance against Kutztown. The defensive end totaled 12 tackles, including seven solo stops and five assists, while recording six tackles for loss. Zellers was also instrumental in helping contain the league's leading rusher.
PowerPro Backs of the Week
Section 1: Cedar Crest senior Garrett Starry, a linebacker and fullback, delivered an all-around performance against Hempfield. Starry finished with 12 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack and a fumble recovery on defense. Offensively, he caught a 14-yard touchdown pass and provided strong blocking from his fullback position.
Section 2: Elizabethtown freshman Rudy Brisbane made a game-changing impact in the secondary against Lebanon. The safety returned two interceptions for touchdowns, including scores of 83 and 35 yards, while also recording two pass breakups and three tackles.
Section 3: Cocalico junior Connor Horning, a quarterback and safety, starred in a win over Warwick. Horning completed 4 of 6 passes for 92 yards and a touchdown, rushed eight times for 56 yards and another score, and added six tackles, including one tackle for loss, along with two pass breakups on defense.
Section 4: Daniel Boone senior quarterback Dominic Stoudt led the Blazers to victory over Octorara with a workhorse performance. Stoudt rushed 35 times for 198 yards and three touchdowns while completing 3 of 4 passes for 86 yards and another score.
Section 5:
Annville-Cleona senior Yama Navarro, a running back, linebacker and defensive back, powered his team against Lancaster Catholic. Navarro carried the ball 24 times for 253 yards and a touchdown while also contributing three tackles on defense.
Also earning Section 5 honors was Columbia senior Kareem Nichols. The athlete and defensive back produced a spectacular offensive performance against Schuylkill Valley, hauling in seven receptions for 297 yards and four touchdowns. He also added three tackles from his safety position.
