George W. Kirchner Award
For 45 years was involved with sports in basketball, baseball and boxing. In the 1930's Dan was the manager of the Brownstown Big Five, which played in the old Tri-County semi-pro league. Dan was also a manager of county boxers and promoted several amateur fights at Schaum's Corner Auditorium in Brownstown. Dan was best known as the president of the Lancaster Red Roses professional baseball team.
