George W. Kirchner Award
A 1934 graduate of Franklin & Marshall College. While wrestling at F & M at 145 pounds he won 28 out of 30 marches with 27 being falls. In 1933 he finished second in Eastern's and was selected as the outstanding wrestler in Nationals. Roy coached F & M wrestling from 1949 to 1967 and during the was was wrestling coach at University of Pennsylvania. The wrestling room at the Mayser Center at F & M is named after him.
