Glenn lettered in four sports at Lancaster Boys High School and received 11 letters at Franklin & Marshall College, He also was the baseball coach at F & M. He was a excellent golfer and won club championships at Media Heights Country Club and the Host Farm. In 1938 he threw a five hit shutout against the Philadelphia Phillies in an exhibition game. Was inducted in 1974 to the Pa Sports Hall of Fame.
